Rovida Terms of Use

1. What Rovida Provides

Rovida is a technology platform connecting seekers and owners across India for:

• Residential Properties: Rooms, apartments, flats, houses, villas, and paying guest (PG) accommodations.
• Commercial Properties: Offices, retail shops, co-working spaces, and warehouses.
• Venues & Event Spaces: Banquet halls, conference rooms, photo studios, and open lawns.
• Vehicles: Cars, motorbikes, and scooters for short and long-term rental.

2. Eligibility & Account Security

• You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.
• For vehicle rentals, drivers must possess a valid Indian Driving Licence (or recognized International Driving Permit) appropriate for the vehicle class.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, passwords, and OTPs.

3. Listing, Booking & Pricing Rules

For Hosts (Asset Owners):

• All listing details, photos, amenities, pricing, and rules must be truthful and accurate.
• Hosts must hold legal authority, title, or valid landlord permission to sublet or rent the asset.
• Vehicles must possess valid registration (RC), active third-party insurance, and fitness/PUC certificates.

For Renters (Seekers):

• Renters agree to pay the listed rental fee, applicable platform fee, and security deposits via verified payment channels.
• Renters must use the asset responsibly, observe stated house/vehicle rules, and return the asset in agreed condition.

4. Payments, Security Deposits & Payouts

All financial transactions are conducted in Indian Rupees (INR) through authorized payment aggregators (such as Cashfree Payments).

• Platform Fee: Rovida charges a transparent platform facilitation fee shown upfront prior to checkout.
• Security Deposits: Where applicable, security deposits are held in escrow or authorized dynamically and refunded upon successful return without damages.
• Host Payouts: Host earnings are disbursed directly to verified bank accounts / UPI IDs according to the booking settlement schedule.

5. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes

Each listing specifies its applicable cancellation tier (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict). Eligible refunds are processed back to the original payment source within 5 to 7 business days.

In case of dispute, property damage, or handover issues, both parties agree to first engage with Rovida Customer Support (support@rovida.online) to reach an amicable resolution.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal proceeding, dispute, or claim arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.
